I am adding this thread for people who are wondering why Newbound is now condemned by the founder. Well I am going to answer that exact question for you and to help you see it from our the founders perspective, I will pose 3 questions to you.

WHY CONDEMNED??? There are many reason why Newbound is now condemned. The main reason is that the majority of artist that we brought in, are just not ready for the industry. In June of 2008 we gave 12 Artist an opportunity to do their own 20 page comic book. We sent out a massive email which was very clear on the terms that the project had to be completed by April 3rd of 2009. Unfortunately only 5 of the 12 artist were completely done. (YES ONLY 5) The others gave excuse after excuse on why they were not done. The only things these artist had to do was complete 20 pages of their own comic, then copyright it after that. Newbounds founder showed them how to copyright it personally and even financially backed the entire project. Newbound scheduled tv interviews for each artist, scheduled conventions and even went as far as to give them their own webpage on the official site, if all wne t well they would even get a chance to do their own 54 page comic and debut at their own convention. With not having to add any money to the project at all, all they had to do was produce, but they couldn't.

Newbound missed 4 conventions it scheduled. did not receive most of the work until august of 2009, and when they the founder tried to reel it in with constant contact thru phone calls to each artist and scheduling of official meetings. He was given the run around. The big part about this is that when he himself completed his 20 pages in 10 months, you would think it would be a motivator. But NO! He put alot of his own individual projects on hold for thjis and was financing the entire thing. So because of the lack of productivity with more than 60% of the artist he shut down the entire project and all future projects to come. He will still be working with some of the talent closely and NEWBOUND will be coming out with "THE SECOND COMING" in a couple of months. So it is not a total lost! Q1 - If someone gave you 10 months to complete 20 pages of your own comic, showed you how to copyright it under you, so you can have the exclusive rights would you do it?

Q2 - If you knew you could not get the work done on time would you string along the company, delaying the process of other people work coming out?

Q3 - IF SOMEONE SET UP TV INTERVIEWS FOR YOU AND ENSURED YOU WOULD GET THE EXPOSURE, OFFERED YOU 66% OF THE RETURN PROFIT AND MADE SURE YOU HAD YOUR OWN WEBPAGE, WOULD YOU WASTE THEIR TIME?

Q4 - How many companies out their do you think offer artist, their own comic book where they have exclusive rights to their work, your own T-shirt designs, potential toy figurines, your own webpage on the Official company site, exclusive TV interviews, the opportunity to debut at your own convention, your own business cards, free posters with your own work on it, without tagging there name to it, and then to top it off give you 66% of the return profit on everything that has your work on it, without you have to put up a dime AND TO ENSURE YOU GET IT DONE THEY GIVE YOU 10 MONTHS TO DO IT? Please tell me who would offer that?
